This is best in case you need to prepare for a specific treatment. The consultation is an in depth look into your skin and any factors that may be influencing its condition. Please be sure to take pictures of or bring names of the products you are currently using before your appointment. The cost of the consultation will be deducted from any facial scheduled within 2 weeks of initial appointment.

Collagen Induction Therapy (CIT) is used to improve conditions like acne scarring, fine lines and wrinkles, loose skin, skin texture, pore size, brown spots, stretch marks, and pigment issues. During the treatment I will use a pen-like tool to which I attach a sterile & disposable end piece containing small needles to gently and evenly puncture the skin. While the appearance of these prickles will be nearly invisible to you after your treatment, the effect they have on your skin will astonish you. This treatment does not hurt. Like all skin treatments it requires proper aftercare.

To ensure the proper healing environment, do NOT use any Alpha Hydroxy Acids, Beta Hydroxy Acid, Retinol (Vitamin A), Vitamin C (in a low pH formula) scrubs or anything perceived as “active” skincare for 1 week post treatment. Do not use any powered cleansing brushes for 1 week post treatment. Avoid intentional and direct sunlight for 72 hours. No tanning beds. Always wear sunscreen. Do not go swimming for at least 72 hours post-treatment. Do not exercise or participate in strenuous activity for the first 72 hours post-treatment. Sweating and gym environments in general are harmful and filled with bacteria, which may cause adverse reactions in your skin. CIT can be safely repeated every four to six weeks as needed. Collagen induction requires at least 3 treatments, while scar reduction requires between 3-6.
